Mother's Day card using my Silhouette

Hey there, good to speak to you today! I feel sad today because of the events that happened in London yessterday, and the details coming out, however, I still want to share a card I've made ready for Mother's Day.

I'm loving my Silhouette and the versatility it offers. I downloaded a card cut file and within a few minutes this was cut out. I added the yellow background and Rhinestones and it was finished!

Love you to the moon and back....

Hey there, good to see you again!  Hope you are all ok!

If you're a parent, you'll know that your children are the apple of your eye.... well most of the time!  When I opened my Brimbles Box, I knew immediately that I was scrapping James and Emily.

I changed my photo to black and white so that it didn't clash with the gorgeous colours in the card stock.  I'm also loving my Thickers alignment tools, as they enabled me to do the lovely Milky Way type title.

Who do you love to the moon and back?

Beanie Layout

Hey there! In January, I went to my friends crop (Crop in the Country on Facebook) for the first time, and while I was there, I completed a layout class.

Emily took the selfie herself, and being black and white was perfect for the class, especially as I'd only seen a sneak, so wasn't 100% sure of colours.

The hexagons are made of Bazzil Basics adhesive Card stock with various pieces of material wrapped around them, which made them very tactile!

Apologies, but I didn't write down the supply list. If anyone out there knows where to buy the adhesive card stock, please hit my contact me button and let me know, as I'd love to buy some more! Thank you.

Baby Cards

Hi, good to see you again! Today I'm going to show you a couple of baby cards that I made for a lady in work.

This time I used my Silhouette to cut out a couple of lovely cards that are simple, but effective.

I love this card, and out of the 2 cards I made, I think I like this one the best. What made the cards nice and easy is that we knew the flavour of the baby!

I loved how these cards turned out, and the lady at work was thrilled. She knew immediately that the cards were my handy work!

Big Brother, Little Sister, Best Friends

Hey, good to see you again! Now parents out there will know how hard it is to get pictures of your children together. I doubly struggle because I have an 8 year gap between my two, and I have a boy and a girl (awwww mum do I have to have my photo taken with him/her?!)

Craig managed to get a few photos of James and Emily together last summer when we were on holiday.

I love this photo, although Emily took one look at my layout and said that James wasn't her best friend (sigh......)

Baking Queen

Hi, good to see you!  The layout I'm showing today makes me smile.

Emily loves to bake, so we bake as often as we can and a routine has sort of developed.  Emily starts the baking, then if James is home, he will come downstairs, put the goodies in the oven, take them out when they are ready, then eat some of whats been in the oven. I always chuckle but Emily gets cross.

This photo was taken when James wasn't about, hence Emily's smile!

I was thrilled to find this paper collection. It fit my baking pictures perfectly!

Beautiful Layout

Hey there, good to see you! Can you believe it's March already!  Where is the year going??

This year is zipping by, and I'm still scrapping my niece and nephews wedding from last year. Take a look.

I love this BoBunny collection, and the picture of Emily as a bridesmaid fitted with it perfectly.

To stop the photo getting lost in the busy Card stock, I matted it on plain white card stock. You can easily get your photos printed with a border, but I like to mat.
